We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Front Desk Associate to be the face of our clients’ properties. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Your responsibilities include managing check-ins, check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using property management systems
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
- Process payments and manage reservations through various booking systems
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Ensure front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer systems and hotel property management software (experience with Opera, Micros, or similar systems is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
